Life Cover and Health Protection
PIPS offers a range of life cover and health protection plans to supplement its pension scheme arrangements.
Operating through a centralised trust PIPS has a flexible group risk scheme enabling employers to provide life cover and health protection for their employees.
The scheme operates from a self option menu whereby employers can build from a range of additional employee benefits.
Life cover or death-in-service schemes are normally calculated by a multiple of salary ie. 3 times an employees annual salary.
Employers can create personalised schemes by combining death-in-service with PHI benefits into a packaged arrangement.
PHI replaces an employees income if they are off work through ill health and normally offers protection up to retirement age.
